Game of Thrones Trailer Season 7 Is Here!

There are enemies—and jumbo jet-sized dragons—everywhere in the new Game of Thrones Season 7 official trailer. And after watching it once (or five times), we officially have the chills.

That’s not because winter is coming—it’s because this new trailer is our first in-depth look at footage from the upcoming season, and the results are freaking epic.

We first check in with Cersei Lannister, who is (unsurprisingly) as power-hungry as ever, and apparently determined to kill everyone and anything that threatens to undermine her family’s legacy. Considering that she and her brother-lover Jaime (still weird, guys!) are the last two Lannisters “who count” in the show’s lore, it’s a pretty safe bet that Cersei is going to lay everything she has on the line to secure her spot on the Iron Throne.

Then there’s a determined Daenerys Targaryen. With her brood of dragons that have finally achieved 747 status (seriously, wait until you see those things in action) and a devoted army that appears to have successfully crossed the Narrow Sea, the young queen is guaranteed to give Cersei (and the other Westerosi contenders) a damn good fight.

Packed into the minute-and-a-half-or-so-long trailer are glimpes of Sansa Stark (and a conniving Littlefinger, who now has a big IOU in his favor after last season), Jon Snow, Theon Greyjoy, Melisandre the Red Priestess, Tyrion Lannister, and a crapload of battle scenes that’ll make you wish it’s July 16 already.

No mention (or sight) of the White Walkers, but don’t worry—like winter, they’re coming too. 

Taken at face value, this trailer suggests that Cersei, Daenerys and Cersei will all be fighting each other. There’s only supposed to one ruler in Westeros, after all. But we’re betting there’ll be an alliance or two before all is said and done.

Also, if you’re wondering, the song is a slowed-down version of “Sit Down” by the British rock band James.

Then, about a month ago, we got our first official trailer for season 7. And by “official,” I mean it actually has scenes from the show. Bask in its glory:

As Cersei implies at the top of the trailer, she has a lot of enemies. However will she defeat them? Wait a week. Geez.

In other notables, we have Unsullied soldiers invading Casterly Rock, Melisandre on Dragonstone, a fire at sea, and a Dothraki horde riding alongside a dragon. Should be good times.

And lastly, HBO dropped a second full trailer just a couple of weeks back. Soak that in:

Mysterious images here include Bran in the Winterfell godswood (so he makes it home!), Greyjoy ships in Blackwater Bay (a Cersei-Euron alliance?), Jaime riding a horse pell-mell over a scorched battlefield, and Jon Snow facing down a horde of wights somewhere beyond the Wall. Playing Ramin Djawadi’s “Light of the Seven” over these images kicks everything up another notch.
